Breathe in the lavender, exhale the love. Family farm vibes, always blooming 💜

Welcome to our homestead, where we moved from CA to IL to embrace a slower, more intentional way of living — with dreams of cultivating fields of fragrant lavender, raising happy goats and chickens, and building a generational legacy rooted in faith, hard work, and love for the land.

OUR ADVENTURES

  • A small wooden U-Pick farm stand in a lavender field, with a rustic bench and barrel in front, and a sign on top of the stand that says 'U-Pick'.

    Lavender

Our number one priority is learning all we can about growing and distributing lavender, large scale. To bring our community together, we also dream of offering u-pick events on the homestead.

  • A circle of ten pastel-colored eggs on a wooden surface, ranging from light peach to blue and green.

    Chickens

We’ve been blessed to have chickens since 2022. They are such a simple and fun animal to raise, with the added bonus of supplying healthy eggs. We currently have a flock of 19 chickens, including easter eggers, americanas, barred rock, plymouth-blue hybrids, and buff orphingtons.

  • Various fresh green leafy lettuce varieties arranged together.

    Regenerative Farming

We believe beauty begins beneath the surface. Before and after planting our lavender, we will use nature’s own detoxifiers—sunflowers, native grasses, and deep-rooted herbs—to gently cleanse the soil of past chemical use. This process, called phytoremediation, helps restore balance, enrich biodiversity, and ensure our products grow from clean, healthy ground. It’s slow farming with purpose—and every bloom tells a story of renewal.

  • Two baby goats walking on a wooden log on muddy ground, one black and brown, the other brown and black.

    Goats!

Baby goats are something we talk about often, but didn’t have the space to raise them in CA. We have a lot to learn but can’t wait for the challenge!

  • A sign for a certified wildlife habitat in a garden surrounded by yellow and purple flowers.

    Certified Wildlife Sanctuary

We are officially recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. We promise to provide ample sources of food, cover and places to raise young wildlife on our property by fostering natural food sources, clean water with our large pond, cover shelter from the weather and predators and manage our habitat in a sustainable way through soil and water conservation and reducing pollution.
